All files must be formatted and assembled correctly for print output. Please ensure that your artwork adheres to the below. To avoid delays please contact us to discuss your artwork if you’re unsure whether it is in the correct format and is 100% print-ready.
We accept files in the following Adobe formats:
*.PDF
ILLUSTRATOR
PHOTOSHOP
INDESIGN
When supplying artwork these formats include all links (images / logos)
and outline all fonts. If fonts are not outlined we will use the closest
possible font.
EPS
If providing EPS format, convert all fonts to outlines.
Always choose the highest possible resolution, and choose to embed all fonts when saving to this format. Minimum resolution is 300dpi for Photos / Images, and 1200dpi for Line Art.
Other requirements:
If artwork has colour/graphics/text running flush to the edge: Supply the file with 3mm Bleed, and Crop Marks.
If artwork contains PMS (Spot) Colours, make sure you specify these colours
in writing.
We cannot use TIFF, JPEG, or PICT file formats for Spot
Colour printing.
Files types to supply for Spot Colour printing are EPS, PDF, or ILLUSTRATOR, PHOTOSHOP, INDESIGN.
All black text in artwork must be 100% black (that is, 100% K, not a mix of CMYK).
If you are working in Microsoft Publisher, PowerPoint, or Word, please save your file as a PDF as we do not print from those original file formats.
If you are unable to save your file as a PDF format from the program you’ve used to create your artwork, we can do this for you at a fee of $50.00 + gst. If any other alterations are necessary to change your file to meet print-ready requirements, a fee of $50.00 + gst is incurred (with your consent).
